The curious cabinet project calls for the exhibition of four artifacts, arbitrarily grouped despite of their distinct formal and cultural references, in an articulated manner. We saw this as an opportunity to further highlight the narrative of anthropological universal. A cabinet stores, a bowl holds, and a vase contains—these timeless human creations serve their purposes across geographic boundaries in ways recognizable without the help of languages.
