PROJECT STATEMENT

Do we use art as an excuse to exploit others? Behind the glamorous facades of museums lie thousands of disgusting secrets. Similar to the Trojan Horse, this project was created using similar strategies to disguise itself as an art exhibition. This exhibit gives the audience the chance to discover the secrets behind the Philadelphia of Museum of Art through varying types of interactions. The more you look, the more you will uncover the secrets within the museum’s walls. With this project, we hope to bring awareness to the injustice in art institutes and tear down the ostentatious facades by highlighting different scandals in the previous years ranging from lawsuits to union strikes.
